About
MNBE was founded by Aharon Ben Elisha, a working Pacific Northwest builder since 2006. Framing, finish carpentry and full renovations across Seattle and the Eastside grew into a licensed design-build company delivering custom homes, ADUs and DADUs from the ground up.
We stay small on purpose. The person you meet at the consultation is the person on your job site through final inspection, with honest pricing, one accountable team and one number from concept to keys. Building across King, Snohomish and Pierce County, we stand behind every home we build.

Most ADU/DADU projects take eight to fourteen months from first call to certificate of occupancy, including design, permitting and construction. Permitting alone typically runs three to six months in Seattle, slightly faster on the Eastside. Every client gets a written timeline up front. We do not quote ninety day fantasies.
Every MNBE project is bid as a fixed price contract after one free site visit and a design consultation. We do not publish per square foot pricing because every lot has its own variables. Tell us your scope, we will walk your lot, and we will come back with a written bid you can compare line by line.
We handle everything. MNBE is a full design build general contractor: drawings, structural engineering, energy code compliance, city submittals, plan-check responses and construction, all under one contract.
HB 1337 (effective 2024) expanded ADU rights statewide. On nearly every single family zoned property across King, Snohomish & Pierce County you can now build at least two ADUs, with reduced setbacks and no off street parking requirement within a half mile of frequent transit. We walk every client through what HB 1337 allows on their specific lot.
